I thought the fighter was great! Marky Mark was low key, Christian Bale was awesome and the way Micky’s family was portrayed was pretty brutal

I like Marky Mark in the Daddy's Home series far more. I'm a big fan of both he and Bale, but I didn't think Wahlberg was a good fit for the role for some reason.

Not a huge fan, but guilty as charged.

How good was Coco, Christian? My friend dragged me to watch SW8 instead of Coco, I fell asleep as that was my first ever SW movie. :roto2palm:

I loved it, it was probably one of the best Pixar films I've ever seen, it had a very Beetlejuice-esque vibe to it, and its a rarity now days, but it promoted family values and respect for your elders, as well as cautioning against hero worship. It wasn't typical Hollywood SJW propaganda. I haven't seen SW8, but from what I've heard it wasn't great, and how the hell have you never seen a Star Wars film? Start with Episode 4-6, and quit there, maybe watch Rogue One and Attack Of The Clones and Revenge Of The Sith, the rest are trash.

Never really liked that genre of movie haha :(.

SW8 made me hate it even more.

Like holy **** was it bad.

I honestly fell asleep watching AVX Transformers, I hate that genre of movies, like robots/just meaningless action.

I'm a Horror guy, but I love Post Apocalyptic and killer alien Sci-Fi films. Not a huge fan of anything with Star in the title including Star Trek, I detest the Transformers franchise, may be the worst franchise in the history of Hollywood, which says a lot since it has concurrent direct and stiff competition in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

Watching Marky Mark is like watching Nicolas Cage or Keanu Reeves - it’s always them no matter what the role or genre calls for. I didn’t think he did a great Micky either, but he wasn’t his typical frat boy self so that helped redeem the role.

He's finally shaken off that image, it only took him near 30 years. But he's been solid in quite a few films lately, Deepwater Horizon and Patriot Day being two good examples, he did a solid, very working class type job in both.

I can only imagine how many meetings they had before Coco went into production. I mean a kids movie where the characters are dead people? A Mexican kid would understand the situation but non-Mexicans kids should be freaked out. Nevertheless my Anti-American grandsons loved it, but my daughter stopped showing them the movie when the 4yr old started walking around the house carrying the ceramic skull that I bought her in Mexico.

It's actually a revival of an old HBO Sports documentary brand. The initial 2003 Legendary Nights run produced a dozen episodes, each focusing on a different defining fight in the network's history, from the Leonard-Hearns I rebroadcast right up to the Tyson-Lewis split PPV. Pretty much essential viewing for boxing nuts. Title aside, the Gatti-Ward special doesn't really bear much resemblance to those original shows, which were done in a more clipped, matter-of-fact style, shorter in length and less sentimental (although they did foster a certain number of myths that persist to this day as a result; e.g. 'Leonard ducked Pryor', which served the Bad Luck Kid narrative they were pushing in the episode on Aaron's victory over Alexis Arguello, but had no basis in actual fact given that Pryor was the one who declined an offer to face Ray that would've multiplied his previous best payday ten times over).

Yes, Transformers is DEFINITELY the worst franchise in all of movies, that and Pacific Freaking Rim. So bad, all of em.

I'm a Dystopian kind of guy, Mob movies as well as the occasional comedy.

Dude, "kids" today watch porn, text racy pics (had to snitch and tell my brother that his 10 year old son received a bra pic of a female friend in his class) and watch fights/killings on YouTube and online.

    :ohno

That's sad and true, but I'm hoping my 2 and 4 yr old grandsons aren't watching Brazzers.
