I realise Vitali was up on all the cards.Vitali was tiring too by the end of the fight and Lewis won the final round. No point thinking about what would have happened without the cuts because Lewis caused those cuts..legit TKO victory

"If Vitali was as good a fighter as Lewis he wouldn't get TKOd or KOd. But he's not. Not even CLOSE. He would get stopped 100 out of 100. He is a clumsy giraffe in comparison who would be beaten to the punch and overwhelmed prime for prime. If Lewis had been in the same shape as when he fought Tyson, they would have had to visit the parking lot to find Vitali's skull as it would have left his shoulders and landed in Row 8, Section A."

    you answer yourself

But, your posts are looking so ****ing clueless that it could be a while. I really can only conclude you must be a crap athlete that can't tell the difference between the skilled and talented vis-a-vis a big and merely decent fighter. The other morons posting (similarly to you) are even more pathetic so it really seems it would be better to let fools live and learn. Time will be your teacher. Can't mentor everyone. ESB is flooded with the ignorant. The anklebiters, old women, and inexperienced kids are just too numerous to engage. Really.

Credit deserved but also rematch deserved, only Lewis too smart to offer it.

  7. No it wasn't....... Yes Vitali made it a good fight, but ATG's do not owe challengers rematches..... Vitali hadn't done anything other than beating bums up in Germany..... he got lucky he had one chance against an old Lennox

If Lewis felt too old he shouldn't have been in there! VK didn't just give him a good fight he was ahead on scorecards. I respect that Lewis felt uncomfortable about a rematch but believeve VK deserved one and would have beaten Lewis in a rematch.
VK was unlucky suffering the cuts. Also if Rahman, MCll stood a chance against a younger Lewis wouldn't VK have stood an even better chance?

  9. Enzo was ahead on the score cards against Ola Ofolabi..... but Enzo got KO'd so what !!!!..... Scorecards only matter if you make it 12 rds and Viatli didn't

Viatli had his chance and lost.... and how was it unlucky suffering the cuts they were caused by PUNCHES. getting punched is what happens in boxing LUCK has nothing to do with it

    End of story

So Rahman and McCall were better boxers than Lewis on the night, circumstances don't matter only punches and cuts?
Yes VK was unlucky as he lost on cuts and wasn't given the promised rematch!
Would you also be of the opinion that Rahman and McCall were better than Lewis, Frazier better than Ali etc if rematches hadn't happened??

  11. Well both Frazier and Ali had been great champions and were still youngish

Vitali was an a pretty unknown entity outside boxing circles.... he had spent alot of time beating bums in Germany and gave a good showing against an old Lewis..... Lewis was obviously past his best and if he had lost to Viali it would have hurt his legacy just like other greats who stayed on too long

Ali v Holmes...... Holmes v Tyson etc

Hey I wanted to say that first, you ****:twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:

  13. If Viatli and Lewis met 3 years before and they had that fight then yes I can see a case for a rematch.... but Lewis would have been 38 for a rematch and wasn't hungry anymore, didn't need to prove anything and was very rich... he retired with dignity and as the last ATG Heavyweight

I love that VITLAY won the event line, it cracks me up every time :rofl:rofl

All the doctor did was save VITLAY the humiliation of quitting again, that's all - he also saved his eyesight so you nut-huggers should be grateful to him.

Keep telling yourself Lewis was lucky though, VITLAYS face after the fight told the true story :rasta:deal

There is a possibility that a rematch would have looked like a tyson homes, mcBride Tyson etc but i also believe VK would have stood a good chance of beating a prime Lewis as i argued above both Rahman and McCall beat a younger Lewis proving he was beatable. IMO VK is a better boxer than the rock or MCCall.
It was a good decision to retire as VK would likely have beaten Lewis in a rematch.
