Maidana won plain and simple! Maidana was robbed of a great win.

Good post. The first 6 rounds Maidana CLEARLY won 5. Mayweather was just way too inactive. Unless you do not score Maidana's bodywork I find it impossible to not have 5 rounds to Maidana by the midway point.

IMO the fight was a draw as I scored the 12 round for Maidana.

Don't tell me you gave Floyd round 8. That was a clear Maidana round.

I had it 115-113 Maidana, very similar to the OP's scoring.

Floyd has declined, but I give Maidana credit as well. He's not a top level fighter but he fought a pretty smart fight. His technique with his right hand is horrible though.

Floyd must avoid GGG at all costs, and I would favor the Pacster over Floyd now as well. 37 is 37, and you can't do it forever.

"The Moment"... Scoring hooks to the body became "rabbit punches".

Pretty much sums it up for anyone having Floyd winning by more than 115-113.

Just watched last night. I saw a clear win for floyd. Same old story. Yes it was much closer than most but how many really solid shot were landed compared to how many missed. All the really clear landed shots were mostly floyd.

**** analysis. Floyd won a close fight. 115-113 quite clear. Maidana was missing punches all night even when he had floyd against the ropes.

90 percent of the boxing writers also agree with my scorecard but more importantly the judges had the right man winning. Even on floyd's worst night at 37 years of age, he still wins LOL

    Remarkable boxer.

I kinda did the same in another thread but I didnt put as much detail as you did I kinda watched the fight for the 3rd time and jotted highlights down as I watched it here it is anyway

round 1 maidana come out fast and had floyd on the backfoot

round 2 maidana had alot of success against ropes floyd hit him with some good rights and to the mid section close round

round 3 floyd round he landed some really good body shots and held the center of the ring, maidana hits back with a solid uppercut against the ropes although his shots have less success than rd 2 when tying floyd up

round 4 clear maidana round outworked floyd not much of note happened but maidana with a great shot to the body at the end of the round

round 5 maidana round again outworking floyd easily and landing some good shots floyd only had 30 seconds in the last minute where he picked maidana off with some big right hands

round 6 floyd very close round i felt floyd got the better of the few exchanges

round 7 floyd this was how i expected the fight to go from the start floyd picked him off at will goading him forwards and hitting him some some good shots maidana getting frustrated hitting the back of his head and missing his shots against the ropes

round 8 floyd again he was consistenly getting through with jabs to the body and right hands maidana having little to no success struggling to find a way to get on the inside

round 9 floyd damn very very close round closer than i first thought BUT I felt floyd edged it with the cleaner shots maidanas jab is no longer finding its range but im impressed by him at this point was thinking this version of maidana would wrap khan in a cocoon of horror.

round 10 floyd best round this is how he will fight in a rematch i reckon he had maidana teling him to come fight in frustration mayweather hitting him with laser like accuracy picking him off and moving

round 11 maidana i stand corrected on 3rd watch from before round this was alot like round 5 he really roughed floyd up and was again pounding the body against the ropes

round 12floyd scrappy round tony weeks ruined it breaking up the fight whenever maidana got inside floyd landed some beautiful shots especially a right cross and with a right counter in the last 20 seconds

    floyd wins 115-113

    "Yup" Maidana won

Fact: Everyone but *******s had Floyd winning.

This is why *******s are on the very bottom of the intelligence scale.

Once Pac leaves the sport, he can take all these ******s with him!!!!!!

    Floyd 46-0!!!!

He has never lost and will never lose!!!

It's obvious TS has no idea how to score a fight. *******s think writing a long analysis will persuade everyone to side with them, nice try.

82% of the media had Floyd winning. 9% a draw..... FACT!!!
