Just Watched Matthysse Vs. Ajose fight on Showtime Extreme!!!

Ajose was overrated after the Matthysse fight, and his last fight showed us why. Ajose is a converted southpaw, and he still lasted how many rounds? Matthysse Garcia won't be Floyd Canelo. There is a reason why it's the co main event, and not the main event.

Ajose is not overrated at all. He may not have been at his best against Matthyse and perhaps time may have caught up with him in the Lundy fight but we refuse to make excuses period. Next thing you will say Lamont Peterson was not that good or durable. Ajose has a great chin and is durable however unfortunately he proved it against Matthyse which was never the plan. Full credit to Danny Garcia for maximising his career to date but in my considered opinion and as someone who has in depth knowledge of both guys I think come September 14 that Danny Garcia's time will have come and gone.

Garcia supporters love to bring the Judah fight and say that Matthysse should have knocked him out if he punched that hard.
Well, Lucas certainly looked better "losing" a close fight against a 2010 version of Judah than Garcia getting outboxed by Ashley Theophane. :deal :yep :hi:

 

Ajose 30 and 0 and hadn't fought anyone yet. He got beat down on FNF a few weeks ago also.

Seeing Angel's clown face when Danny is stretched out cold on canvas in the early rounds by Lucas would be priceless. :yep

 

Ajose just got dominated by Hank Lundy in his second fight at 140 coming off 2 losses in a row.

So since coming to the USA to fight, he is 2-2. With the wins coming against Cheebah and a guy with 14 losses.

Using Ajose as an example of how good Lucas is, is not a good example. Ajose has a solid chin though.

 

Resorting to posting theoretical wins how pathetic. So a blown up lightweight in Soto and a guy that couldnt beat Amir Khan lowly ass is the big bad Matthysse's best wins, some killer
