That Unanimous Decision Mayweather received is open to interpretation. Usually when someone pays off the judges and a robbery happens you get a Split Decision, Majority Decision, or Majority Draw. They only buy 2 of the 3 judges. Floyd didn't get any of those.

judge: Anek Hongtongkam 116-111 | judge: John Keane 115-111 | judge: Jerry Roth 115-111

Keane hasn't scored **** in terms of big fights. The other two have been involved in some big fights. All three of them have it quite wide for Mayweather. Could **** really have been that different from the angle they watched the fight from compared to what we see through the television?

i go back and forth on it all the time....either guy could have won and a draw was fair....mayweather showed heart that people even today still question. A bad hand and a shoulder and even stood toe to toe with a bigger stronger guy and went out like a champion...he showed class by clearly winning the rematch so their really isnt a reason to discuss this fight unless it was a robbery and it clearly wasnt....Mayweather won more rounds in the beginning, the middle was see saw, and Castillo won more at the end...I always end up scoring it 115-113 for either guy or a draw depends on what you like....I hate when people use punch stats because

scoring fights is round by round and the fight was about as close as it gets a fair decision

Castillo outboxed mayweather in this fight with lots of feints, head movement, jab, well timed punches and counters. He didn't just 'swarm' Floyd. He outmuscled him, out worked him, and outboxed him on the inside and outside. In the rematch Floyd really pressed his speed advantage and potshotted the slower man, but Castillo had him in the first fight.

You're such a biased twat. Why even put your two cents in? None of it is valid.

If you watched that fight and scored it for Castillo, you do not know what constitutes clean, effective punching or defense. Castillo did nothing but show aggression, his punches were largely slipped or deflected and he got countered every step of the way.

Cry more little todler. Wheres the bias in my post? It's not valid because you don't agree with it , right?

Castillo won the first fight, earned the W. Floyd didn't do anything. Look at the highlights of that fight and tell me who landed all the significant blows. Look at the compubox #'s. Everybody in the arena + HBO commentary thought Castillo won.

    Get over it.

You said Castillo "outboxed" Mayweather. From that point on your post had no validity. Castillo's only success in the fight was when he was bullying Mayweather at the perimeter of the ring. That's not "outboxing" you fool.

Maybe you need to watch more than the highlights. Almost all of the clean effective punching was landed by Mayweather in the fight. Compubox was counting elbow, arm and hip punches by Castillo, and that's a fact cause the numbers don't match the actual damage Floyd sustained.

You need to move on with your *******ism.

Even if, he didn't, but even if he lost the first fight - He handily avenged the "defeat".

Watch the fight again and learn boxing outside of Floyd Mayweather. If you call outboxing simply moving around the ring, throwing a jab sparingly, while getting backed up, countered, hit to the body and head with hooks, right hands and jabs , roughed up on the inside, then thats what Mayweather was getting done in the fight.

Mayweather hardly landed any significant blows in that fight. Again , go watch it again without your Floyd blinders on. Castillo won the fight clearly.

Also this myth that Floyd won the first half of the fight is horse****. You could definitely give Castillo some of the earlier rounds as well.

Troll thread. OP didn't really watch Floyd Castillo l. To say it was a clear robbery means you can't score a fight, lmao.

You do know you're in the clear minority thinking that the first 5 rounds weren't all Mayweather. That should tell you something right there.

Everyone thinks the fight was close, except you. You think you "know something" that everyone else doesn't and that just shows what kind of a moron you are.

Castillo didn't win the fight, in reality or on paper. As I said, move on with your *******ism.

Mayweather didn't win the first 5 rounds. I know because I've seen this fight and I'm watching it right now, and there's just no way unless your extremely generous that you can't give Castillo at least 1 of those rounds.

Again, where are the significant blows landed by Floyd? Show me some footage. I can show you plenty of highlights of Castillo snapping Floyd's head back with jabs, landing hooks, right hands, banging his ribcage, etc.

If that's what you believe, then yes Mayweather won.

Your right he didnt win on paper, but he won in the eyes of most fans , the commentators who were there covering the fight, and the boxing world in general. So like I said, get over it.
