Lederman gave Castillo rounds 3 and 5 which is accurate. You'd have to be really generous to Floyd not give Castillo at least 1 of the early rounds.

Castillo controlled this fight. He was the ring general for the most part, landed most of the significant blows, landed more punches, outworked Floyd.

Look at the compubox stats. 173 power punches to 66. Even if Compubox can be a bit skewed, that's a huge difference.

Other tidbits:

Roger was acting desperate in the corner.

To Floyd at the end of the 7th: "Show me something"

At the 11th: 'Sit down and exchange with him.' This doesnt sound like a guy confident in his man winning.

Castillo fought a brilliant fight. As the significantly slower guy, he used effective / intelligent aggression, cutting the ring off and taking control of a guy who could only bring himself to potshot and run rather then throw combinations - and go into a defensive mode which Castillo took apart with well placed punches and body shots.

 

Roger was desperate cause he knew Floyd was injured. He knew the fight was close, and gave correct advise @ the end cause when Floyd exchanged, he got the better of Castillo.

This is all your opinion. Lederman is pretty bad with his scorecards and the fact that you're trying to bring it up to lend credence to your case, shows how desperate it is.

Castillo clearly won! Why does that upset you? Floyd is 41-1... Deal with it... It's still a good record!

This thread is ridiculous, the cards were far too wide, anyone saying the victory is clear as day must be on about one foggy ass day, scored it three times, two in favour of Mayweather, one in favour of Castillo (Live)

Mayweahter will always win decisions because judges know that he is going to land the cleaner punches and therefore look for them, aggression is enough against some fighter, but not Mayweather.

BTW I had Mayweather winning the first five rounds, every time apart from the first time I watched it, gave Castillo round 3.

Super close, I would obviously never argue with anyone who scored it to Castillo by a point, maybe even two if you actually value body work significantly over head work.
