No homo You're an idiot ... and to referr to me as a gay person says alot about your maturity level and your knowledge in boxing ... Like I said before you think Cotto is God ... what a winner !!
I know more about boxing than you do ... you're chump ... you revert to insults rather than discuss the sport. of course aggression is apart of scoring, but power punches don't mean anything. Castillo was walking into alot of punches ... he was getting countered all night ... he wasn't committing to his punches - and they weren't effective. He also got beat at his own game on the inside ... Floyd also never showed fatigue ... had the same energy as in the first round ... and was making Castillo miss ... Castillo hit alot of gloves and elbows and if you watched the fight - instead of hating on Mayweather and wishing he would lose then you would see that.
I can't even do anything but laugh ... great post ... too bad it has nothing to do with boxing. Only thing you proved is that you're able to tell a joke and that you still don't know anything about the sport. Funny post ... you remind me of a "suburban" who uses homosexual refferences and pass them off as humor.
and i'm from Grand Rapids ... not Ann Arbor ... thats the east side of the state and i'm from the west side.
Anyone that calls Castillo/Mayweather 1 a robbery is a buffoon. The judges didnt score Cotto's body work while the guy doing compubox did, which is understandable since alot of Castillo's body work landed on Floyds arms not his body. Floyd sealed the win by winning the championship rounds, namely rounds 9 and 11. He won 10 aswell but I had it a draw because of the point deduction. And someone on this thread actually scored the second fight a draw lol? Are you serious? So Castillo being rocked in the face 7 straight times and looking dejected meant what to you exactly?
One of the most over-rated robberies of this generation, up there with Jones-Tarver 1. Of all the people who gave the fight to Castillo, I rarely see scorecards. The same can't be said for those who gave it to Floyd. :think
Well, let me go a little way towards recifying that: Mayweather winning rounds 1,2,3,4 and 9. Castillo winning rounds 5,6,7,10( 10-8 ),11 and 12. Round 8 even ( 9-9 ). 114-112 Castillo Can't believe so many here had Floyd taking the last two rounds. Utter bull****. Floyd put up a brave stand in the 11th, but still got outbanged and lost the round clear. He ran the 12th and nothing more than the odd jab landed, whilst Castillo worked downstairs and landed the harder shots. I won't argue with anyone having Floyd winning a close fight, but anyone that has Floyd by 4 or 5 points is delusional.
Cheers for the scorecard! :good I do disagree, but with a close fight, people are gonna see it both ways... According to your scorecard, Mayweather won only 1 round of the last 8, and still only lost by 2 (if Floyd is given the 8th round, that's a 2 point swing and makes it a draw). Castillo certainly wasn't that dominate in my eyes over the last 2/3s of the fight.
Here's one of my very old posts about Castillo Mayweather I -------------- a few things i noticed in this one. First of all that is a VERY prime Castillo in there. About as good as he can get. He is moving fast, countering, ducking, vicious body shots, good foot movement, sick feints, the works. I've been a fan of Castillo for a long time and this is one of his best performances. That version of Castillo can hang with the very best. Secondly, Mayweather has a very solid chin. If you doubt it then watch the end of round 7. Also, Floyd's right shoulder was bothering him after round 1. I mean some rounds it obvious its hurting him a little less, while in other its hurting him alot. I mean clearly Floyd is not at 100% The ref definately helped Mayweather a little. Breaking up the fighters very quickly. He're my score 1. PBF 2. PBF 3. PBF 4. PBF 5. JLC 6. JLC 7. JLC 8. JLC (Castillo loses 1 point) 9. JLC 10. PBF (PBF loses 1 point) 11. JLC 12. JLC 114-112 Castillo. Hatton said that in his 4 rounds with Castillo there was more excitement than Floyd's entire career, but the fact is that Floyd vs Castillo was 10 times more exciting than Hatton vs Castillo. Also I think Hatton does have the style to trouble floyd, but i doubt he can win. I mean is Hatton really better than a prime Castillo as he says? I don't think so. A prime Castillo is a ****ing monster with a ton of skill. We'll see. If Hatton - Mayweather is anything remotely close to Castillo - Mayweather, it'll be worth the price tag (even 65$)
Very good analysis I had it 115-113 Castillo, I felt Castillo did enough to win the 8th outright:deal
