American propaganda! Valuev took it easy on Holyfield but was in complete control of the action! Valuev is the ultimate athletic specimen and you know this. Be honest with yourself!

I remember scoring it a draw, but I have to watch it again.

Judges look for different things, I can tell as a judge you penalized Cotto for getting on his bike. I had Cotto winning because Mosley couldn't stop his jab.

I gave Cotto the 11th because, even though he was backpedling, he was scoring more and better. I thought the 12th was close enough that Mosley's aggression made the difference.

8-4, 116-112, Miguel Cotto. I don't know how anyone can have Mosley winning. He was clearly outboxed.

I dunno how can you make it for Mosley.

It was competitive, but Cotto did enough to get a convincing victory.

I can't remember my exact score but I think I had 116-112 too, even though I was giving Cotto a few rounds that were very close that I thought he was only edging. I could see if they went the other way.

115-113 for Cotto but I could also see a 114-114 draw... In no way did I see Mosley win this fight but a draw at most...

I just watched the fight again. I scored it as follows:

    Cotto 10-9
    Draw 10-10
    Mosley 9-10
    Cotto 10-9
    Cotto 10-9
    Cotto 10-9
    Cotto 10-9
    Cotto 10-9
    Cotto 10-9
    Mosley 9-10
    Mosley 9-10
    Mosley 9-10

    Final

    116-113 Miguel Cotto

Cotto landed the cleaner shots the whole night, controlled the ring and the pace of the fight. He would have come close to shutting Shane out if it hadn't been for the last few rounds he practically gave away. I checked the Compubox numbers to see how accurate my scores were and I found them to be pretty close, except for 1 or 2 swing rounds. According to Compubox, Mosley should have won the 3rd round clearly, but even in that round it seemed that Cotto landed the cleaner, more crisp punches. I actually thought this fight was closer the first time I saw it. Cotto completely dominated in my opinion. Joe Tessitore and the other announcer ironically commented on how 'tight' he looked at the start of the fight and how he appeared fatigued around the fourth or fifth round.
