    Never been a fan of Fullmer ,he was very strong and durable , average boxer ,average puncher ,and dirty,especially with his head. Even Giardello ,who could be naughty, said Fullmer was a dirty *******.

    One of the knockdowns against Robinson was a total cross between a trip and a body slam. I dont recall the other, I just remember if you discount Fullmers illegal tactics his LEGAL tactics werent effective enough for the win and he should have been DQd. It may be this fight or another Fullmer fight that the ref commented he agreed Fullmer fought dirty but he couldnt DQ him because that was the only way Fullmer knew how to fight. Pretty lame answer if you ask me.

    I do have the fight complete.

    Fullmer was dirty.
