Yes of course a prime Roy embarrasses Glencoffe, but this same Richard Hall went 12 with Glenn Johnson and Roy did not even though it was after he came back from HW and the Tarver KO.

Not at all. The 2000 version of Jones would have more likely emphasized every Calzaghe's weaknesses.

This was a jobber fight this guys was there just to make him look good ..

Its laughable to see anyone even bring up the Jones performance vs a Jones in his prime performance. it has to do with Jones simply being past his prime by the time he fought Johnson

 

Richard Hall was a top contender who gave hell to Dariusz each time they fought and went 12 rounds with Glen Johnson.

He gave Dariusz Michalczewski hell though, they looked to be on the same level.

Roy toyed with him, completely dominated him. Made him look like a novice.

 

The cop was Richard Frazier.

 

Going into that Jones fight, there had already been some luster that was missing or removed by Hall. He'd signed a nice contract w/ Leonard and was supposed to be a top prospect. That bad ko loss to Gannon was a big step back & we really never heard why Leonard dropped the guy's contract so fast. It certainly had to go beyond the Gannon ko.
