I'm pretty sure that all fighters are juicing. For that matter, all professional athletes. It's just a question of whether they get caught or not.

The effect of steroids on the performance of a boxer, particularly one of RJJ's style who relies on explosive athletic power and speed, has been seriously underplayed in this thread as "taking the lustre" of the performance. There's a reason why these drugs are taken at great risk to a fighter's reputation and to a degree their health, and unfortunately it will always tint Roy Jones.

ahh.. you must still be stinging over the beatdown you took in the Dirrell thread.

I would say that 100% of NFL players are juicing.... in fact I would say that 100% of all major NCAA level players are on the juice. I had a roommate who played football when I went to U of Missouri, the ****er had equine steroids and so did everyone else on the team. Without them, they're not even competitive. It's sure looking like all baseball players are on it, and boxers too.

When it comes to steroids, it's not like all of them just suddenly decide to 'cheat'. All these athletes take major supplements, which often get reclassified to 'steroids' once the regulators catch up with the science, but they're always a step behind. It's just a fact of life. If you're trying to beat a Ferrari in a road race with a VW Beetle, you're gonna lose.

    ? what beatdown? what thread?...

If were talking boxing, then im pretty sure knowhere near 100% people are on 'steroids'....and many supplements are knowhere near being the type of stuff they'll find to be illegal steroids later

This was much more brutal. In those last few rounds it really was painful to watch the guy just getting helplessly baited by Jones. There's dominance and then there's just absolute savagery.
