I know this has been covered before but I can't believe he used to lose all that weight and to think he used to dropped down to 140. He must be coming down from 165+ I would guess....

The reason why I mention it is because Bro Naazim said the guys who have the best chins are the ones that stay in shape in between fights, like Mayweather, Holyfield and he mentioned someone else!

What do you think, did Hattons weight fluctuating have a bearing on him getting K.O'd!

Look at Roy Jones before his drop down from heavyweight. He didn't get hit that often cleanly, but he still did by some big punchers and took them well, when he drops down from heavy his chin turns to glass. It has to have some correlation.

Expect the HHC to be out in full force for this thread, As a Hatton fan i think ultimatly he was outclassed by May and Pac, no harm in that they were and still are the P4P best on the planet, remember he didnt loose to no-one else,

He had a hell of a chin in his prime, took some HUGE FLUSH bombs off Tszyu (hes the only man that springs to mind that actually took Tszyu's punches that well bar Phillips), also Mcgee, Collazo and Urango hit him with harder shots than May or Pac did i just think their skillset is on a different level (as in movement and placement of punches)

Or mabey im talking a load of bollocks and it was that he was in too many wars early on in his carrer :good

I think Hatton is cool one of Britains most popular fighters but I cant help but think if he kept himself in better shape he wouldn't have got so brutally K.O'd.

They say when you drop weight drastically you lose some of the fluid around the brain which it needs if it sustains a trauma and this contributes to being knocked out more easily!

I dont think we'll see him back even at 140 which is a shame he was good to watch! Plus 140 is a good devision.

Whatever. He isn't shot when he fights old Kostya and gay Malignaggi.

But magically he looks like crap when he fights the P4P#1 AND P4P#2.

Gee I wonder could it be all the bullsh1t reasons? Or could it be a massive step up in class that he couldn't deal with??? HMMMMMM.
