    1. Direll Won That Fight. Froch landed his first clean power shot in round 8. In fact, Direll had Froch hurt in Round 10.

    2. That Ref...SHOULD NEVER, I REPEAT...NEVER, STEP FOOT INSIDE A BOXING RING EVER AGAIN...HE WAS AWFUL!!!

    Truth. . .

put on your flame suit homie before the Frotch nuthuggers come in here and tell you all about how Direll ran all night and was holding and how Frotch apparently pushed the fight wilst punching thin air and landing like 7 punches

I was shocked, frankly. From what I read it was a debatable decision, but that was... My god.

I guess everyone has different scoring criteria but, and this may just be me, I always thought landed punches were of some importance! Apparently not.

Froch was warned over a half dozen times for rabbit punching and in fact, I would challenge anyone to watch the fight and find a single round that Froch did not throw a rabbit punch. Despite this he never lost a point.

Dirrell, on the other hand, was docked a point despite never receiving a warning.

The ref also stepped in and broke the fighters apart in the 10th round when Dirrell had Froch on the verge of going down.

Worst referee since the Homer in the Hatton/Lazcano fight.

darryl I like you as a poster, but I scored it for froch 114-113...I have gone in-depth many times on why I scored it the way I did...and I'm partial to dirrell's style...

I have No problems with a majority of people scoring for dirrell a close fight but to say its 10-2 or 9-3 is awful scoring...

Most media outlets have it in the same ballpark as the judges scoring the fight....we didnt have gale van hoy or donald sutherland judge this fight...

what I'm debating is to say it was a CLEAR dirrell win.....I dont see that...the whole fight on who won is up for debate....same with paulie-diaz.....but we didnt have ridiculous scorecards in this fight...

And the ref is a mix bag, shoud froch have been deducted a point? Yes....but the deduction of dirrell was justified....

The scorecards on both these fights were ridiculous, but at least they gave the decision to the right guy in the DIaz,Malifaggi fight. Last nites fight was a robbery.

Saying the fight was a robbery is just as stupid as saying Froch schooled Dirrell. It was a close, scrappy fight and as soon as the final bell rang my gut reaction was that Dirrell had done just enough to knick it. However, the decision went to Froch which I haven't got to much of a problem with, but the way some people are banging on you would think Dirrell put on a Calzaghe/Lacy style performance.

And yes, the point deduction for Dirrell was a load of bull****.

Wrong, explain to me why most press people scored the same fight the same as the judges....dan rafael had froch 114-113, as did I...

and for the record baby bull**** is still bull****...go be a lawyer, he can work for me out of my shopping center...

I had it 114-113 Froch as well. And I've gone over the fight 3 times now and keep coming up with the same. Some people judge with emotions and not rational thinking. no way did Dirrell win 9 rounds and it wasn't a robbery. People think if they scream loud enough that the their version of reality will become true.
