Those three judges should be BANNED for their ridiculous scorecards. What a fuccing joke. Pavlik landed more jabs, more power shots and was clearly the aggressor. I am a Pavlik fan and had Kelly up by 1 point going into the last round. You want to tell me I was off in a round?... I'm fine with that. Off in 2 rounds?.... not likely, but possible I suppose. Wrong in 3 or 4 rounds and thus almost having Taylor with a shut-out? That's criminal and absolutely ridiculous. There is ZERO chance that fight was a 4 point advantage for Taylor. Z-E-R-O. :-(

I had Pavlik up 4 rounds to 2, but I thought 3 round even would be a good scorecard as well.

I agreed with Lederman's card tonight, Pavlik up 4-2 going into the seventh with the KD round.

What do you expect. Just like in the Hopkins and Wright fights, HBOs judges had their cards filled out for Taylor in advance.

Sorry, HBO, no gift decisions THIS time! Pavlik saw to that!! :happy

Brooklyn, many congratulations on a pin point, perfect prediction. Nobody would have gotten that KD, but your overall analysis was perfectly spot on and I am throughly impressed.:good

    :rofl

Hey Zak did you see Lampley's face? After the post-fight interviews Lennox had a look on his face like he just caught Lamps doing the drunken sailor speak. And Lampley looked none-too-pleased. :smoke

Your theory would hold true if they weren't hyping Pavlik as much or more than Taylor.

Sorry, this theory simply isn't true man.

Completely agree with Zakman. I had Pavlik up 4-2. He was landing way more solidly and consistently and was backing up Jermain. Other than the knockdown round, Jermain was hardly landing, Kelly was rolling and dipping, and when Kelly landed, they were solid - right on the jaw. I was surprised Jermain took it as well and as long as he did, and quite frankly was impressed at how well he conned Kelly, because I thought he was hurt on a number of occasions from rights but played it off relatively well. Bottom line though, is the mind can be tough, but the body will give way if you keep getting hit that cleanly and consistently.

Taylor has gone down hill since teaming up with Stewart.

Was the female judge related to Harold Lederman by any chance?

    Just curious.......

Although I picked Taylor to win. I really dislike him, just because of what happened vs. Hopkins and Wright.

Jermain even told Merchant he didn't know he was winning.

    Taylor - Pavlik
    1. 10 - 10
    2. 10 - 8
    3. 9 - 10
    4. 9 - 10
    5. 10 - 9
    6. 10 - 9

So Taylor in front by 2 p. according to my scorecard. :bbb But the rounds were pretty even.
