I have never seen someone so hurt for so long that they didn't go down or the fight stopped. Gatti ward RD 9 is similar but Gatti did go down and was able to fight back. Has anyone else seen something similar?
froch n taylor was pretty long i think. or maybe time went slow becuz i wanted taylor to survive. he stunned him and had him falling and tripping all the way to the stoppage
Mollo-Golota,several rounds toward the end Mollo was gassed terribly and barely finished the fight. I rememb er in one round Rnady Neumann(the ref) pulled Mollo out from a clinch nad had him badly on the ropes to which Kellerman said:''Neumann almost knocked him out!"
Interesting question. I was also pretty shocked by how durable JuanMa was. He was on ice skates for pretty much all of the last two rounds. Off the top of my head, I'd say Mtagwa was hurt the same way by Villa and never quit. Then of course you have the St. Valentine's Day massacre, but that's going way back.
I believe Marquez went down(ropes held him up)at the end of the round. But good comparison ether way:good
Van Damme movies also have the same type battles only he gets pummeled at the beggining only to comeback
