I was impressed with both fighters, I never scored it, I rarely do on a 1st viewing, I prefer to enjoy watching without thinking about scoring on my 1st view + I`d heard it wasn`t close anyway. Cotto was great, fought a terrific fight & would have won if fmj didn`t have the true grit to go with the skills... his grit matched Cotto`s & his skills & conditioning exceeded Cotto`s... most exciting fight of his career probably.
Really good stuff. Mayweather was terrific on the ropes early on. Cotto had him trapped a few times in the mid rounds. Good to see Mayweather could still use some movement. I thought Mayweather would jab more. Shame because the 1st rd his jab was looking killer
