Just watched the Pascal-Hopkins press-conference.

    Absolute cringefest.

    Hiding the belt behind his back? The man's supposed to be 46 years for goodness sake!

    Pascal reacted no more maturely, desperately trying to get it back like a kid who's had his sweets stolen. He should have just been nonplussed about it and made Hopkins look a fool, which he is.

    Yep if Pascal just said ok you get a good look at it grandpa, cos it will be the last time you get to hold a belt, as of Sunday morning you will no longer be a participant in the sport of boxing. But if you're not able to find work, come see me, i'll let you come over and polish it every now and then.

    Anything would have been better than desperately clutching at thin air trying to get it back.

    Hopkins isn't some master of the mind games, it's quite easy not to be affected.

    What Kel said. Hopkins usually pulls some sort of stunt to drum up headlines, and its usually a lot worse then this. If Pascal wasnt in on it, then ya he should have just played cool on it, but he probably was in on it to some extent so they could have some sort of headline grabbing press conference. Which worked in a silly way, predictably, as the other boxing news site I go to says

    Pascal/Hopkins EXPLODES!

    I agree. That's why I'm not buying into anything until the fight happens. People eat this stuff up and Hopkins & Pascal know that.
