I still haven't watched it. Too depressing for an ATG like Tyson to lose to some bum who forever will be remembered for beating Mike Tyson.
A fighter that was once as great as Tyson loosing to McBride. I wanted Lewis to smash Tyson's, but I would never have wished this indignity on him.
As a Tyson fan, I never watch this (or the Danny Williams fight). They're just painful and depressing to watch. At least in the Douglas, Lewis, and first Holyfield losses, Tyson took his beatings like a man.
The William's fight isn't THAT bad. A very end of the road Tyson beating the living **** out of a guy who's moderately successful at heavyweight until he breaks his ankle. Could of been worse.
Agree. On top of that, Williams was in bad trouble during the first and second. Without the knee injury he may even have been stopped. I also thought it was impressive how Tyson took 20 or so powershots in a row from a hard puncher without going down because his legs gave in or anything. The fact that he flat out quit was less impressive, of course. :yep The sad thing about the McBride fight is that he seemed to have lost his power that he did still have against Williams/Ettiene. He hit McBride plenty.. the height probably took something away, but still, i can't imagine him taking a quarter of that even from a 34 year old Tyson without getting stopped.
You guys seem to forget that Tyson try to foul McBride in that fight, think he try to bite him on the nipple once.
