Just watched Wlad v Pulev again and think....

I mean with an old Louis who prolly woulda gone 3-0 in rematches if he tried.

There wasn't much to fight.

 

Shot only works if you have a Jibjab.. otherwise your flaws are being introduced to Murphys Law (and Occams Razor).

 

I like Wlad. But Mike is like the worst style match up for him. Tyson can take a good punch, Wlad won't one shot him (although if Wlad hits anyone right I think he can...). Body shot, uppercut combo from Tyson, Wlad is down... On the other hand, Wlad's jab is one of the best ever imo, especially when it comes to power, but to keep Tyson off him for 12 rounds? Jab+clinch combo could work though...

 

Tyson is way too small for Wlad. Wlad would tie him down like crazy. Tyson has a small chance of an upset KO. Best chance for Tyson to win would be a DQ win by a ref with some balls.

 

Are we talking the prime Tyson who exists only in the mind of nostalgic armchair fans of the Eighties and teenagers who watched a Youtube montage?

Yeah. He was awesome.

 

If I had to bet everything I own on one of them prime for prime, it would definitely be Tyson.
