Margarito lost the fight before he entered the ring. Both mentally and physically. In that order. Cause and effect.

I've said from the beginning that this is a great matchup and can go either way. Obviously Pac has to be favored, but come on...

Margarito is going to be the largest fighter he's ever faced. He may be the hardest puncher. He's probably one of the toughest. And he has that relentless aggression and stamina.

Pacquiao can be hurt, and he's primarily an offensive fighter. Also, the size difference is going to be a huge factor. IMO, if this was taking place before Margarito's suspension he would beat Pacquiao. Now the only question for me is how much does Margarito have currently? I think he has more than enough to make a great fight out of this.

Seriously, what are you talking about? I in no way based my prediction on the Shane/Margo fight as Shane and Pacquiao fight NOTHING alike. If you want to know why I give Margo almost no chance to win, as another poster said, I expect Pacquaio to use his quick footwork to attack, pivot, attack. And as the poster mentioned, he has the stamina to do it (whereas someone like Cotto who had a history of fading couldn't withstand it). He's in against someone who is better technically than him, much faster than him, has some power, a good chin, and will come in with a good game plan. I never said I expected Pacquiao to KO Margarito.

With all that said, I expect Pacquiao to win a decision against Margarito.

theres intagibles youre dont take into consideration....
margo is hungry and up for this because pac is the icon right now, the face of boxing and will be a very little guy next to him in the ring....margo is stronger and hits harder. only takes one good one from him. also pac has a million things going on....congress, family always around, tv appearences constantly, photo shoots, making movies....margo has one thing going on...training and thinking about pacman (well thats 2) pac has incredible work ethic....but i think hes in trouble.... of course he could prove me wrong for the 3rd time...... :D

If he agreed to 150, why is the fight at 151 then? Am I missing something or Roach is that dumb. It simply does not add up.

Margo could very well prove me wrong as well. I think Margo's an incredibly difficult match for most, I just don't think the styles clash favors him.

I was just saying I never came to that conclusion from Margo/Mosley.

Pacquiao is a far more effective puncher.

As far as Rockgloves' advantages in this fight, he has only one: He has something to prove. Other than that, he is worse in all significant measures. People will say, "His size!" but are neglecting the fact that Pacquiao is draining him down to 151lbs.

So, other than the "something to prove" point, all signs point to a Pacquiao whitewash. This fight goes for as long as Pacquiao allows it to. If it goes to the cards, it's 120-108 across the board.
