I think there would be a slight difference and understandebly so because Ortiz didn't look like winning that fight after four rounds. Therefore if he did it, people would think thats the only reason he won and only way he could have. People would be more outraged i gaurentee it! With Mayweather they think he was going to win anyway but instead he did this way because Ortiz had wrong him first. There for kind off making it ok. I don't agree eitherway, Ortiz was an idiot for that headbutt but at least it was heat of the moment. What Mayweather did was wrong and unfair whether it was against the rules or not. But what's done is done.
that's about as hypothetical as one could get. There's a reason it happened and a reason it would never happen to Floyd.
Mayweathers just doing his job, which is too maximise his income. No one can seriously tell me that after the **** he pulled againts Ortiz that his next fight won't sell significantly more, if only for more fairweather fans tuning in hoping to see him lose.
If the exact circumstances came about and you changed the fighters, my opinion would be the same. A legal blow knocks out a guy following an intentional headbutt. Great. That's game over.
