Dela Hoya: "Khan is boxing's next superstar"

Hopkins: "Khan could be as big as Leonard or Ali"

Haye: "Only Khan can beat Floyd"

I remember when Oscar proclaimed Ortiz as the "next Manny Pacquiao", Ortiz was TKO'd by Maidana.

Hopefully this Floyd thing dies down because the gulf in class is immeasurable.

Crashed down hard? It would crash down hard if he was brutally knocked out. Losing a razor thin split decision to a live opponent isn't crashing down hard.

it's not just GBP. i remember a few floyd fans hyping khan to high heavens in the event that a floyd-khan fight happens. some even suggested that khan would trouble floyd more than pacquiao.

For the life of me, I will never understand what so many people saw in Amir Khan. The only thing that I saw that was impressive was speed. but speed is not necessarily a skill...especially when you don't know how to use it. His footwork is GOD-AWFUL, Defense is terrible, gets hit way too much to be consider an elite boxer, and what I found to be jaw droppingly sad; is that his stamina is HORRIBLE.

It's amazing at the large amount of people in a BOXING WEBSITE FORUM that could not see that this man is extremely overrated.

What they meant was Manny's a walkover just like Khan is just that Manny's easier since he cant run as fast as Khan.

It's obvious no matter what the hype is, that the majority of these fighters are pretty much all on the same level. Technically, you can put every fighter in the same category because all of them can be beaten on any given day. Ariza is supposed to be this conditioning expert, but Khan looked to be breathing super heavy in the Maidana fight and in the Peterson fight. What I do think is that many are grasping so hard at trying to find the next Manny or the next Floyd and it's just not going to happen with any of these guys right now.
