Fair play to him he is living the dream, Heavyweight champ, a millionaire.

    BUT

The dude is the biggest BULLSHITTER in boxing man. Bla Bla Bla Bla. All lies man. He dont want the Klits man u can tell. He will live off the excuse that they dont want to fight him. Bollocks. Do the right thing son. Retire and enjoy your riches. You would make a great Promoter as you spout alot of ****. But I give u credit as you will still have your brains intact when you retire.

I actually quite enjoyed it

Thought Smith was on the verge of actually asking some decent questions, like when he started quering Haye on accepting 48% if he actually wanted the fight etc. but he let him off far too easily again.

It is a shame how much Haye is hated now, watching the interview last night and he can be and funny, honest and likeable character. His career could and should have been so much more,

so much wrong with that interview, you can see when haye is asked any half decent question he starts shitting himself, he is such a bs artist and to have smith and nelson sucking his **** like that is really annoying, im never giving sky a penny of my money ever again, that was horrendous

I stated in the start of the thread that everytime smith asks hae a decent question that nelson butts in, why doesnt nelson just wind his neck in and stop taking about his own career and let haye do his own talking. Nelson came accross as a spokeperson/lawyer/trainer in the interview the way he butted in and finished sentences, cringeworthy stuff guys!!!

I honestly dont think the fight will come off, Haye is a coward and a undisputed cruiserweight champ (seems to have forgot about cunningham being the ibf at the time). He was naming all the chageav fights but failed to mention that he beat valuev handily, which is the fight haye is making his name off...

Johnny Nelson is intelligent enought to know Haye is talking ****.

But Nelson is smart enough to play the game - and not upset Haye - cos Nelson is prepared to be a bare faced liar and bullshitter and ducker and diver himself.

Remeber Nelson played the excuses game to duck Enzo Maccarinelli from 2003 to 2008 when he retired.

    He knows Haye well.

This was probably the dryest ringside to date, the choice of writing didnt help me feel any better of the show either as it looked similar to something off of vice city.

They need to be hyping and covering fighters who arent getting enough exposure they are doing a run round of these haye and khan episodes and imo it is turning hardcore fans like ourselves off of the programme, it is a shame because it has potential they just arent reaching it.

i feel alot of use are being far to critical on the show - it was alright but a show on david haye wasnt needed right now.

Anyone else crack up with Haye chatting about how realistic he is about his abilities and how perfectly he analyses himself...and then saying that he has cured his stamina problems?

Didn't look that way in the Ruiz fight...

Was rather shocking to hear Haye state that he didn't think he'd be tough enough to mix it with some of the past heavyweight greats. If that's how he feels you have to question his own belief in himself as a heavyweight and appreciate why he wants out of the sport. Don't think I've ever heard a supposedly elite fighter from any era question his own toughness (and thats different from someone admitting they have a dodgy chin). Whatever you say about the Klits you can't look past them being intimidating heavyweights across any era, and after hearing Haye basking in the Florida sun it's easy to picture how Oscar was pleading with him to sign with Wlad without getting him to lift up the pen.

Watching Smith and Nelson was absolutely embarrassing yesterday. They were like two little schoolgirls in the company of a man who their bedroom walls are filled with posters of.
I lost all respect for Smith when he said Haye/Harrison was worth £15 because they "had Lennox Lewis,Nigel Benn and Ricky Hatton on the show",posh tosser.

Have you ever heard the Klits compare themselves to the greats of previous eras?

I'm no great fan of the Klits but I've never heard either of them say there are any fights they don't fancy

When Haye says he cannot be an ATG in this era that tells you a lot. He lacks true ambition and self belief.

If Muhammad Ali had believed he was in a weak era and there was a lack of competition he would have set himself new challenges. For instance Haye could try to beat Joe Louis' record for title defences or George Foreman's record as the oldest ever champion.

Greatness is always an option for those who seek it out. But Haye doesn't really want to be great. He just wants to be rich. Does Haye really love the fight game?

Haye never said he didn't fancy fighting the ATG's though. He said that he would be interested to see how he would do against them and said he wasn't sure how he would do.

He said he cannot be an ATG because of the lack of quality opponents out there. Defending against 26 below-par fighters wouldn't put him above Louis.
