I didn't say you have to fight 5 times a year to be great. I am saying you have to set yourself great challenges -- and achieve them -- to become great. Pac has done that. Haye hasn't.

That was your example... which in this modern era, is pretty much impossible. How else can Haye become an ATG? Realistically, as he said, he can't.

What Pacquiao has done is pretty much impossible. But he has done it. THAT IS WHAT GREATNESS IS.

Greatness is not about "realistically" this or "realistically" that.

I am repeating myself now. I already answered how Haye could have become an ATG in this era. You may think it was an impossible task I outlined. But we cannot know if it was possible or not...because Haye never tried.

Trying is the first step towards succeeding.

Adam Smith did his best to ask a few awkward important questions.

But Johnny Nelson ought to be ashamed and embaressed. Seeing him wank David Haye off for an hour turned my stomach. The amount of arse licking and bum shagging he did should have been censored.

Especially when you consider that only 3 years ago he was considering coming back out retirement saying he still fancied he could beat Haye at cruiserweight!

I've not seen the show yet...but, did Haye ask Smith why SKY refused (according to the Klitschkos and Haye/Booth) to have two pay-per-views in April?
Everybody agrees that the fight was made for April and that SKY said No to two pay-per-views. Boente, Vitali, Wlad, Adam and David are all on record. The Klitschkos admitted that Haye had agreed terms, Haye acknowledged he was sharing his much bigger TV pot right down the middle and then SKY said..."Nah, we got Amir...sorry." The June date was then suggested and Wlad sensibly opted for a warm-up and Haye sensibly said I'm not agreeing to a June 2nd fight if it will not be confirmed until after April 30. The root of this aggro is, surely, SKY saying No to 2 pay-per-views in April. It's not Wlad or David's fault...nobody ask for clarification? Odd.
    Did Haye not ask that?
    Just a thought...
    Adios.

Am I the only one thinking he came off alright in the interview?

    Just watched it now.

His talk about his weaknesses in the ring impressed me.

The highlights clip was very good imo. His modesty about the thompson fight was very good.

I obviously didn't like him saying he preferred to leave with money and his faculties than with a legacy and bruises but it's understandable to a degree.

Overall he seemed ok imo. Povetkin then wlad, good way to go.

No, he didnt ask that. But, Barney Francis stated in an interview in Boxing Monthly that he doesnt want to saturate the market with PPVs - especially 2 in a month. They only have Khan and Haye on their books as real PPV fighters - so I doubt they would want to have both on during the same month.

Would having the fight on the same weekend as the Royal Wedding be revenue maximising? :think

Plus..... Khan had recently been involved in a thriller of a fight with Maidana and would likely do good business.

Realistically Haye ought to serve a pennance for that disgrace against Audley.

Understand bout saturating the market but tell khan he has to move his fight to march or may, surely a Haye-Klit fight should have taken preference to a routine khan warm up before bradley?
