Deontay Wilder has named the best three KOs of his career - Tyson Fury was number one on that list.

On Fury, he said: "I won that fight hands down. The ref gave him more time. He felt like it would be the right thing to do. I definitely knocked him out."

Seen it before of course with all the claims that Mike Tyson had knocked Buster Douglas out. It's like bizarro reverse world, you just can't believe it all.

I'm actually genuinely concerned about his mental state

Technically Wilder isn't 100% wrong. Fury's eyes were rolled in the back of his head and was clearly out for a few seconds. But he got up before the ten count and dominated the rest of the round and obviously Wilder lost the fight.

Hate to say it, but yes, it did seem like a long count to me. Most referees would have stopped the fight.

Wilder's accusations about Breland and his claiming the heavy costume caused his loss were delusional however.

Maybe Wilder needs to rewind to the Ortiz fight and take note of how they gave him extra time to recover from the pasting he was taking. THAT was extra time. Fury was up before ten and that's all that matters. Hell, I've even seen guys get up just as the ref counts ten and get a chance to continue.

He's genuinely lost the plot and I feel somewhat sorry for him now. No one's ever taken a loss this poorly in the history of boxing, and there's been some doozies. Wilder is a special brand of stupid though, so I'm not surprised he's the one coming out with these embarrassing rants.

He's pretty much entered MVC territory now.

Tyson Fury is truly living rent free in that deluded head of Deontay Wilder.

    What a ****ing clown

Eh, I've done the count myself just to eliminate the possibility of being manipulated by a biased fanboy and he did get up at the 9 second mark on my count. Was quite legit and not a long count whatsoever, the ref was basically spot on.

    Agreed.

At this point I wish Fury would give him the third match just to see Wilder get beaten down some more.

But frankly I doubt #3 will happen; if Wilder really wanted it he'd have taken the option by now.

I suspect that he's going to lose to some guy that nobody saw coming, next. Imagine Helenius or some other remnant of the past whalloping him :D

It'd be sweet to see Helenius come up trumps with an upset like that to cap off his late career resurgence. Although with his chin and gas tank I'm not so sure.

I'd rather Fury doesn't give him the 3rd fight

    1. Because in the first fight (robbery) he boxed his head off and showed he can get up from a right hand bomb
    2. He took a different approach in the rematch and dismantled him

So he's beat him twice in different manners..... the first when only being back for 6 months after being on the sniff, beer and whatever else

Then add the fact that Wilder will forever be having a melt down and you have the perfect recipe.

He's turned himself into an absolute laughing stock. Instead of admitting the better man won like we all know he's made ridiculous excuse after excuse....... complete and utter muppet.
