Im a big Haye fan , have been since his first pro fight but unless both Klitschkos are confirmed to be unavailable ( which doesn't seem to be the case ) is there any justification for Haye v Hopikins ? The fight is great for Hopkins legacy ( even though i think he would lose ) but terrible for the divison and I'm hoping its just all talk , but if not can anyone see this as being anything other than bad for the division :huh ?
As much as I really don't want to beleive that , it would be hard to argue with if Hopkins goes ahead.
Hopkins would get laid out if this ever happened. That is unless Haye refused to pull the trigger. He counts Hopkins as one of his boxing idols along with Lewis.
what a joke..... Hey David...what happened to "I want to fight the best" "I must fight the best to be the best" Barrett, valuev, Ruiz (I understand Mand) now BHop???? Nice of you to keep your word. Vitali is ready and has a n open date in May or Wlad in June after he beats Chambers.... PICK ONE and finally back up YOUR OWN WORDS!!
When has Haye said he will fight Hopkins? :huh If I remember correctly, its Bernard who is doing all the talking.
Fearon isn't involved with Hayemaker though, so I don't know how he would know insider info. Maybe I will ask Dave Coldwell if he knows anything about it - I hope it doesn't get made though.
Haye wins in under 5 rounds. I actually think that this fight could happen because it will raise david's profile in america.
