i assume that all the close rounds go to froch bc i know homecooking would be involve and i still have dirrell up by one.
He turned the judges against him by making a clear effort to hug Froch. His grandpa told him to avoid the clinch but he didn't listen. The crowd was crazy for Froch, too. Any two-punch combo was supported by a lowd roar and made it seem like he was landing, when in fact, he was missing 95% of his power shots. To Froch's credit, he did land a couple of left hooks and a few good jabs. That's the only explanation I can come up with.
This :deal NO robbery.I had the fight a draw neither 1 deserved it outright. The pt deduction selled it the judges like aggressors and so do I so.I gave it to FROCH.The early rounds was close and I felt the Challenger (dirrell) didn't do enough to win he has to take away the belt. And Froch landed jabs some punches and was the boss he looked like he was man handling Derril who was running, holding, complaining and falling over.
I have said in other threads, I'm biased to dirrell's style, but for me I saw 2 fights within 1 tonight...... The rounds dirrell won he boxed beautifully and kept carl in the middle of the ring, superb ring generalship, great jab, and fired the right hand behind, along with countering froch at times, but he abandoned his counter attack the longer the fight went out....dirrell won 5 rounds... When dirrell got stationary or froch backed him into the corner froch did good inside work, and when caught even semi-caught dirrell would hold to stop any offense froch had, that in itself is illegal.....froch fought his style and a connect is a connect folks, carl won 6 rounds.... round 10 is an even round because dirrell won that round, the only round he won where it turned into a brawl....and the point deduction made it an even round... I had it 114-113....like I said I'm not english, and I'm more biased to dirrell's style, but I had it for froch...
