i think winner get's 60, loser gets 40 would be good, assuming they can't agree to 50/50.

i'd love to see floyd explain why he won't take that. hahahahahaha "you don't know boxing. stick to commentating!"

Floyd doesen't draw more in gate and where his US PPV#'s are slightly bigger it doesn't mean he's more popular over all. He just has the ability to get people to buys PPVs. Which is great, but he's not dominating those number with Manny in the mix. Its very competitive....therefore he's not in a position to really ask for the lions share....I mean he can...based on the lates PPV numbers but it's a weak stance b/c he's not like DLH who had NO comp....

World wide there is NO Comparison even in the UK. Floyd doesn't have a following outside the US and that is the truth. Regarding Manny being the face of boxing b/c Floyd left...he took over b/c he deserved it. Someone had to fill the slot and Manny man handled that spot. Floyd numbers are impressive with PPV's but that doesn't mean he is in a postition that DLH was when he was in a bracket all by himself in terms of drawing power in this sport.

50/50 is reasonable. The only reason I care about it is because it is a sticking point in negotiations for a fight we all desperately want to see.

But when it comes down to it, Floyd v. Mosley had history to it, and both were coming off very impressive wins. It did slightly more than Pac vs. Cotto, however for me Pac/Cotto's numbers were more impressive because a) neither fighter was American, b) they didn't have a history point to sell it on and c) Cotto was coming off 3 unimpressive fights, there was no 'two top fighters aspect', rather it was 'this could be a real good fight if Cotto displays some of his old self'.

For a fight like that to almost match Floyd vs. Mosley for me is very impressive.

yo COTTO WAS AN A SIDE PPV STAR MULTIPLE TIMES!!!

    cotto vs marg
    cotto vs clottey
    cotto vs shane
    cotto vs jennings

Cotto is a ppv attraction.... mosley is not....

Granted, and for what i'm aware the Pac Cotto fight did good numbers in Puerto Rico, and i'm sure the Puerto Ricans in New York would have contributed alot.

However, for me, Mosley would have contributed a lot to the Floyd fight because they had a history.

Also, do you know what the Clottey v. Pac figures were? I don't but i think they were around the 700k or 750k mark, with a 50k crowd attendance. I'd bet my bottom dollar very few of them paid to see Clottey. Drawing nearly 800k people to watch fight a punch bag is an impressive feat.

Haha , what a stretch .. You are cleary Just a bias fanboy

Cotto vs marg was a ppv ya , but probably the most highly anticipated fights that year , between the two top weltersat the time . Everyone knew it would be a war too.

Clottey vs cotto was not ppv
mosley vs cotto was not ppv
jennings vs cotto lololol , pathetic that you try and compare a top rank co-main event ppv with an hbo major ppv

    You are a moron

This bout should be 50-50...they are the two biggest draws in the sport. And if you don't agree that this bout should be 50-50...you are biased toward one of the boxers. Mayweather could have gotten 1 more PPV buy than Pacquiao in his last bout and he would have asked for 52-48...it's his ego/mind games.

But I couldn't care as long as this bout happens this time round.

Anything over 15,000 people at a fight is success. Anything ppv over 750,000 is a success... Do the math!

When will ****ing idiots like yourself realize that exciting means nothing and is subjective, it has nothing to do with who's the draw and gets the bigger share. There's nothing subjective about PPV numbers though.:deal Learn the sport of log off.
