I would say they are better..not a lot better but certainly not very close..

i mean floyd has done more ppv buys in his last 4 fights than pac has done in his last 6

    1 pac-clottey 700k
    2 pac-cotto 1.2 million
    3 pac-hatton 850k
    4 pac-de la hoya 1.2 million
    5 pac-diaz 275k
    6 pac-jmm 400k

    total 4,625,000

    1 floyd-mosley 1.4 million
    2 floyd-jmm 1.2 million
    3 floyd-hatton 920k
    4 floyd-oscar 2.4 million

    total 5,920,000

please char i like you as a poster..do not try and argue with that ..i will take you to school my man..6 fights to 4 and floyd still doing more ppv #'s:deal:good

go ahead and throw mab rematch in their along with morales rubbermatch..that will make 8 fights in comparison with floyds last 4 and he still didnt do as many

Awww....you're sweet. I LIKE YOU TOO!!:hey But I don't think you have a realistic view of yourself. Seriously....school me? On what? Not boxing or this topic. Your opinions give you a false sense of self. You think too highly of your opinions and I don't mind it, but you sometimes come off a bit....ridicoulous.

Based on fights they've had since facing DLH where their stock sky rocketed FLoyd and Manny's PPV numbers are not that different.

Manny has about 2.75 Mill in PPV and Floyd has 3.42 Mill in PPVs. And considering the Josh fight that's really not that much difference. Now I'm not saying Floyd isn't the top US PPV draw...he clearly is but he's got major comp which means he can't pull a "DLH" move where he can demand the higher purse due to NO COMPETITION.

LOL...FOR THE FIRST PART OF UR POST I ONLY COME OFF LIKE THAT IN ARGUMENTS WHERE I HAVE ALOT TO BACK UP WHAT IM SAYING...U WONT HEAR ME TALK LIKE THAT IN A JMM-PAC DEBATE FOR EXAMPLE CUZ I DONT GOT ENOUGH FACTS/QUOTES/SOURCES ETC... TO BACK UP MY ARGUMENT...

IN THE CASE OF A PAC-MAYWEATHER ARGUMENT I GET INTO IT CUZ THERE IS SO MUCH CIRCUMSTANCIAL EVIDENCE THAT POINTS TO MANNY BEING IN THE WRONG...AND THAN THERE IS SO MUCH THAT POINTS TO FLOYD BEING AT MINIMUM, MORALLY RIGHT.

AS FOR THE PPV BUYS....U CAN PUT IT HOW U WANT BUT THE FACT IS FLOYD HAS DONE MORE PPV BUYS IN HIS LAST 4 FIGHTS THAN PAC HAS DONE IN HIS LAST 6:deal:hi:

BTW IM STILL WAITING FOR YOUR SOURCE..I GAVE U MY SOURCE ALMOST AN HOUR AGO AS FOR THE PAC-HATTON NEGOTIATIONS...

CMON NOW CHAR..DONT BECOME A ******* NOW...*******S DONT PROVIDE SOURCES...THATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN U N A *******..YOU WILL PROVIDE SOURCES TO BACK UR ARGUMENT..A PAC FAN WILL JUST TELL U THEY DONT NEEDA SOURCE AND GO TO HELL

I don't mind you coming off as confident or cocky. That's right up my alley. But that kind of **** don't phase me in the slightest b/c I have a solid argument that I feel is stronger.

THere is a lot of elements to this entire situation that provides more areas of gray than "BLACK AND WHITE". Which is why there is a very even split on each side of the fence.

And agian....I'm not argueing that Floyd's PPV#'s are slightly higher than Manny's which is why I've said that I'm cool with him taking that stance to request the lions share. I simply feel that 50/50 is more than fair.

But for the sake of the fight happening I'm supporting who ever makes the concession on their end to force either man into a corner where they can't avoid the fight with additional demands or requests.

That can be Floyd or Manny......I'd be happy if Manny took the lesser pot and gave in to floyds blood testing demand...I'd be happy if Floyd took the lesser pot and removed the demands if that meant we all would see this fight happen. Unfortunately its not that easy.

char man i know and respect your opinion..
but the circumstancial evidence points in the opposite direction of what your saying... u have ur opinion n i have mine..difference is i can bring in quotes by roach, arum getting caught lying, and pac being exposed by a video of him giving blood 24 days before the hatton fight..
IM NOT HERE TO ARGUE THE ABOVE THOUGH..WE AGREE TO DISAGREE:thumbsup
IM STILL ARGUING THE BELOW POINT THOUGH
can i get the source on the ricky hatton-pacquiao fight and something to back up what you were saying?? i have already given u my source:good

are you implying that floyd is more exciting than pac? you're kidding, right? I mean, I know you hug floyd's balls, but that's not exciting for the rest of us.

why do people compare floyds ppv against mosley, agaisnt pacs with cotto.
mayweather was RETIRED. since his return

(pac and cotto) v (mayweather and marquez) PAC wins
(pac and clottey) v (mayweather and mosley) mayweather wins

    thats 1-1

but pac is p4p no 1 so he deserves at least 50-50 if not more

    Using the numbers provided...

    5,920,000 - 4,625,000 = 1,295,000

Being VERY generous we will say a PPV buy is $40...

    1,295,000 x $40 = $5,180,000

    Equal. Really? :huh

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

There is something very disturbing about men clamoring over Pacquiao & Mayweather. It's one thing to love the sport and respect the athletes.

It's another thing entirely to be junior Ellerbes

No doubt bro....we'll probably never see things on level with each other but I'm cool with that. At least you have logical arguements unlike many other posters on here. Both camps have been caught with questionable statements that are untrue or can be discredited. But that's nothing new in boxing or negotiations with promoters. I'm not sure about Rick and Manny...I know that they have proof that Manny gave blood 24 days before the fight....I actually thought it was a lot closer to the fight but I'm not 100%.

At the end of the day you have to go with what the numbers say.
    The numbers are the Revenue.
The Highest earner gets the Highest salary.
More people like Pac but those people arnt buying Pacs Fights
