Which I completely agree with.......everything except the highest earner getting the highest salary b/c this isn't a sitation where there is a clear cut top draw. With regards to the PPV #'s Floyd is definitly getting more folks to buy but not by that much. The bottom line is this fight generates A LOT of money if BOTH fighters are the attraction. You remove one and those numbers aren't there. They both need one anther to make this fight and to capture the kind of revenue that should break all records....so my opinion is that 50/50 is fair. But like ALL OF US.....it's not up to us nor do we have any say in the final outcome. I'm interested to see how this fight gets made b/c I'm pretty certain they'll find a way to make it happen.
OH! My bad.....I didn't see that. To be honest bro. That **** is gonna take too much time and effort for me to try and find. But I do remember reading that on one of the sites I get my updates from. But I'm sure if you have a link saying it was 52/48 then I believe it.:good I didn't even notice the link you provided...
The Mosley-Cotto, Marquez-Clottey comparison are much closer than the opposite because of where each fighter was in comparision to Mayweather/Pacquiao, neither Clottey nor Marquez was viewed with having much of a chance, both Cotto and Mosley were viewed as having a chance and in division were ranked top 3 or 4. Mayweather against a dead opponent, Marquez, did 1 million Pacquiao-Clottey didn't. Mayweather-Mosley did 1.4, Pacquiao-Cotto did 1.25. Mayweather would have done larger numbers against Cotto than Pacquiao would do against Mosley, same with Clottey and Marquez. But even using your method of 1 vs 1. Mayweather still swamps Pacquiao, like what 5-1.
:huh Mayweather did 1.4 with Mosley, How does that mean he will do double that with Pacquiao, especially considering Pacquiao hasn't done 1.4 ever in his career?
60/40 in paquaio's favor in my book. Manny is THE MAN Floyd is the wannabeee In giving Floyd 50/50 shows Pacman is ready to fight. C'mon Floyd grow a set sign 7 prove to the world youre as good as you seem to think you are
fact is, Floyds every fight was heavily promoted. if not for the effort and money spent promoting his fights, it wont do the numbers. his dance with JMM promoted for 6 monhts. give us a break. anyone asking for more than half is ducking. This content is protected desperate kind of promotion, at WWE^^^^^^
I really don't care who gets the higher percentage share as long as the fight is made. But to answer the question 50/50 is the better option being the most acceptable sharing, which could convinced both parties to sign the damned fight. Greedy *******s.
Pac is p4p#1, FOTD, 3 time fighter of the year. To top it off, Floyd is the one with a size advantage in the fight. Their career PPV numbers and revenue are almost equal. Pac should get at least 50/50, if not more because he's giving Floyd the size advantage and agreeing to take additionnal drug tests at Floyd's request..
