Several good fights earlier, the two HW fights so far have been low quality.

8 rounds at Heavyweight: Otto Wallin 27-3 vs Chris Thomas 15-2-2

Thomas was at one time a very good middleweight up-and-comer, but for some reason didn't fight for 5 years and came back as a heavyweight. He's still just age 27.

Wallin bracing Thomas with his right arm to club him with the left, imposing his size. Sort of what you'd expect.

Chris down in a corner early in the second...Otto landed a left on the flank but commentators saying they believe Thomas rolled his leg and sat on his ankle. It's over.

    TKO2!

That is just Wallin's second victory since Gassiev, two years & two months ago.

That was a career high weight for Wallin at 250.

Shockingly, the former middleweight Thomas has actually been even fatter in the ring than he was today at 241lbs (sporting a large gelatinous spare tire) - he was 5¾ more last time out versus Big Gug.

What is that belt he's parading around? :dunno Figueroa hasn't graduated past eight rounders. He shouldn't have any hardware.

Junior NABF super welterweight championship ...alright, guess that answers that.
