Madueño is getting hit with some counter left hooks now but still steamrolling Pauldo into the ropes. Ref there to quickly break their rough clinches. Madueño pushes a double jab past Pauldo's gloves and taps him on the beard, then crashes a right hand into his waiting arms. Madueño keeps trying to peck with the jab to deliver the right hand payload but Pauldo cautious to avoid it, running around him, ducking rapidly and rolling out the side door before straightening up. Yes, Justin, you can maneuver nicely - but boxing is about scoring offensive points, too...

Round 8

Madueño is cleaving close to Pauldo, making him rumble inside. Pauldo willing to do so, scoring some uppercuts with his free hand. Madueño just touching him all over as much as he can, not artful but effective. Madueño hit with a left hooker-cut on the gonads and takes some recovery time. Pretty flagrant, the ref could have taken a point for that if he took one from Madueño for rabbit punches without warning honestly. Time in. Madueño rips some hard shots to body and head. Pauldo blasts him with some uppercuts and hooks turning Madueño's head. Good action. Half a minute left. Madueño pushed into the ropes, thumps his chest to invite Pauldo in. They flurry themselves into an exhausted clinch. Ref pushes them apart with moments left. Body shots by Madueño.

Round 9

Madueño is keeping his elbows pinned to his ribs and just winging his long forearms into Pauldo's sides, landing with loud thuds. Pauldo the one coming forward behind a high guard as Madueño perches his butt on the middle rope and tees off at him. Pauldo trying for his own body shots inside, getting a few licks in, but should be jabbing his way in. Madueño is always first to get off in their exchanges, and usually last too. Lots of clinching and arm cranking by the ropes. Both feeling the pace now throwing arm punches. Madueño twirls Pauldo around with his arm stretched over his back, ref has to intervene.

Round 10

Madueño is wasting no time, jab thrown away downstairs, a decoy for a big overhand right. Pauldo backing up, greets Madueño with a counter uppercut but is hit with some hard body shots. Madueño jabbing his way in, whipping that overhand right at the brow of Pauldo. Madueño is warned for an incidental clash of foreheads. Pauldo gets MMadueño in DDT position and plugs a few right hands into his body while keeping his head trapped. Ref says nothing. A few rough clinches. Pauldo popping a jab and circling out to his left, spiraling away from Madueño up on his toes, acting like Ali. Does, uh...does Pauldo think he has a bunch of rounds banked or something? Madueño is trotting after Pauldo, stabbing with both hands, very tired, but eager to get through with something. Pauldo dancing around, showboating, throwing pot shots and clinching.
