And Oscarat jr WW boxed on his toes with a great bounce, threw punches from all different angles, his hybrid left hookercut was better than any punch Pac had, was taller, longer reach, had a better jab, was more POWERFUL. All the would give Pac fits.

What Morales and JMM did to Pac Oscar would e able to do much better, because Oscar unlike JMM wouldn't need to get in the danger zone to land his punches.:good:good

Pacquiao is a different fighter compare to the Morales fight, nowadays Pacquiao throws better combination, better punch from different angles, a better right hook(the punch that KD Hatton). I believe the polymetrics training he did with Ariza, added more explosiveness to Pacquiao. He never try polymetrcis before until Ariza came in.

If you will notice Oscar's fight with Shane, he has trouble everytime Shane put some distance, Paquiao has better foot speed than Shane. Also Morales is better at stalking his opponent, and has more diversity on the range of his punches.

 

Pacquaio isn't massively different from the one that fought Morales, Barrera and Marquez. He just happens to be way better than the crop of WW's that where there when he moved up. No dig at the guy as you can only fight the people around.

 

Agreed, he is fighting lower tier fighters.

Hmmm, not true, if you will look at how Pacquiao handle weaker opposition like Larios, Velasquez and Solis, they are not that impressive compare to how he handles superior opponents like Cotto, Hatton and Clottey,

 

Yup, can't agree more. I am impressed with the way he jumped up in weight. I am impressed with his dominance of this weight. I have no problem rating him P4P greater than de la Hoya, Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Mosley or any of my 90's idols beside Jones. However, how anyone can think he can beat the Oscar that fought at 140 is beyond me.

I will also add the WW division he fights in is a lot better than the one that produced undisputed Welterweight Champion of the World Carols Baldomir.

 

He has improved but its not to shout about. He gets by more on his athleticism than anything else. Also those lighter weight guys you mentioned are all good fighters.

 

Good fighters, but not as good compare to the likes of Cotto. Solis and Velasquez did not even win lineal titles.

 

Morales/Barrera> Cotto, IMO

 

He did try to fight one, but the said speedy guy doesn't have the urge yet and is on vacation.
