K-1 Legend / Boxing Vet Mike Bernardo passes away

his 1st fight i saw was against butter bean in which he humiliated him. He's one of those guys i kept track of from him having done both boxing and k1.

Was never much of a fan of Bernardo's, until I saw his war with Ray Sefo, one of my favourite fights in K-1

Anyone with a list of scalps like Peter Aerts, Mirko Cro Cop, Andy Hug, Francisco Filho and Branco Cikatic sure has my respect :good

 

Here’s a better link for the last bout, it comes of the official K-1 DVD and shows a lot of pre and post fight stuff. The fight with Le Banner should have been cancelled because he got stitches in his shin and couldn’t kick, but he decided to fight anyways. That was a highly anticipated bout and the crowd went bananas.

The one with Sefo is one of my favorite K-1 fight. That fight was great action all the way with vicious hands thrown at eachother.
