When the **** did this rule come into affect?

It used to be 3 knockdowns.

Stopping a fight after a second knockdown is BS and Ruins the fight.

Dunno when it started but I agree man. Some of the fights could have been much better with more knockdowns.

Yeah it does. They shouldn't even have a 2 or 3 knockdown rule. Sucks when a fighters gets dropped twice but can still continue but the fight is over cause of the stupid ass rule

    Yep, sucked for Overeem.

They had the 3 KD rule for the final though.

2kd rule is terrible. must be 3 if they are gonna do it. they shouldn't really do it at all.

Yeah, the limit should be 3 KD. For those saying there shouldn't be a limit, don't agree with you guys. The fighters need to be protected. There has to be a limit especially if its in a GP, when there is a possiblity of a fighter fighting a few times in 1 event. If its a non GP match, then that is another matter.

The fighter should be protected and he, the ref, the doc or his corner can make that call. Too many kd's aren't hurtful kd's and thus you can be stopped when you could still continue.
