Apparently the Overeem-Bonjasky decision was controversial. Haven't seen it myself but seems on the internet that the general opinion is that Overeem had a good case for the win, or at least an extra round.
also want to say i always loved the k1 production and pre fight buildups. the japanese are great at this!
why is manhoef still fighting in k1? he can't expect to train mma and compete in kickboxing successfully. Bonjasky was well below par but the decision was ok with that kd. As usual there's a few ******s screaming robbery over at sherdog :!:.
He's been fairly succesful in both; his mma game is all about striking so it's not like the training can be that different.
The show was great, even though the main event was highly disappointing. I was for Saki all the way in the tourny, but it's great to see such a huge underdog win it.
That was a good fight, Manhoef is probablly the best counter puncher in the game, but he is too obvious when he goes to attack.
