Grady Brewer and Cornelius "K-9" Bundrage are scheduled to fight on the Manfredo/Bika under card in November. I'm picking Brewer to put an ass whoppin' on K-9. Here is some footage of Grady's tune-up. It's very poor quality, but you can still see the way Grady put his punches together to take this chump out in under 3 rounds.

Here's the link. Sorry, I couldn't get the clip to post.

That's a bold statement, Boo. I'm sure you'll find more than a few folks who disagree with you.

I'll go with K-9 by UD. He's been more active, he's fought better comp, and I just think he's a better fighter. I've got nothing against Brewer. I'm glad to see him back from that knee injury.

Bundrage could beat him like he did with Ouma

K-9 absolutely HAS NOT fought better competition then Brewer. Grady went the 8 round distance with Jermain Taylor, sparked Anthony Thompson in 3, beat Steve Forbes, lost a controversial split decision to Sechew Powell, fought Kelly Pavlik on 2 weeks notice, and won the contender tournament that Bundrage placed 3rd in.

K-9's big claim to fame is a win over a totally shot Ouma and a TKO loss to Julio.

Comparing common opponents does not always lead to good analysis, but Forbes beat K-9 and lost to Brewer. Powell sparked K-9 in 1 round, but barely squeaked past Brewer.

This is a good match up. Brewer will take it. He's a much better boxer, and to strong physically for K-9 to get away with the usual clinching and mauling tactics.

Grady is one STRONG freaking guy. I don't think all the clinching and mauling will work.

You know, Boo, I have to admit, you're right about the competition thing. I typed that without looking up Brewer's record, and I was not familiar with his resume'.

Still, given recent events I'll go with K-9. But I agree it's a good matchup, and a decision going the other way would not surprise me.

OF ALL THE FIGHTS TO HYPE UP

Manfredo/Bika will be interesting. Would be nice for Bika to put up some gold...always appreciate a journeyman getting a bone.

Personally I think K-9 needs a knock out. Grady is a much better and busier boxer. If it goes to the cards, Grady takes it for sure.

This thread is already starting to remind me of the threads when Brewer was on the contender. Pretty much everybody agreed that Grady was the emotional favorite, but had no chance at winning. He fooled us all back then. I tink he's gonna fool us one more time.

K9 will win IMO, he'll bully Brewer and although K9's chin is a bit suspect i dont think brewer has the punch power to knock him out.

    1: I'm bored

    2: I like Brewer

3: I'd love to see Grady get one more good pay day.

Maybe I should start a poll to see what old, worn out, shot to ****, muth****a still has the most fans: Grady Brewer or Bronco McKart:hey

Like I said a minute ago, Brewer is to strong for K-9 to bully.

Hey, man, I like this thread. Nothing wrong with showing some support for one of your favorite fighters. It's a nice change from the many Klit/Peter, Pavlik/Hopkins, and other retread threads. :good

As for your other thread idea, I'll go with McKart, but only because he's from the Detroit area.
