Cotto would have too much for Brook I wonder whether Brook was genuine about his chance against Cotto during the Jennings press conference interviews. Cotto is still a great fighter, great jab, great defense and good counters.

I do not think Brook is ready to mix it with guys like Cotto but he will beat Jennings with ease. Cotto should finish up domestically, maybe fight the lanky Hennesey fighter and then Witter before getting a chance at an elim.

Brooks not at that level yet. Let them all wipe each other out. Brook will have his time:good

cotto in 4!! He was beat by an exceptional fighter, fighter of the decade anyone???

Cotto still has alot to offer, he took a beating of marg ( under dodgy circumstances) which i believe took something out of him, so pac, marg, mayweather are above him, but other than that he can hold his own with anyone else in the division

Cotto still has enough in the tank to take care of Kell Brook at this stage, just the elite Cotto will struggle with from now on.

It wasn't that long ago that Cotto dealt with Mosely. He's still top class, just Manny is re-writing the rules at the moment and is exceptional.

Brook is quality but at this stage I think Cotto would be way to big a step up...

When Cotto's old and grey then he maybe might scrape a split decison.

Brook is yet another young lad whos real green and doesn't understand what it's like to experience world class power and all the other skills that world class fighters like Cotto have. Brook has fought near on nobody yet to even talk that bold. Doing body sparring with Junior Witter doesn't get you ready for a real fight against a fighter like Cotto. He would have to contend with everything he's never faced before...Brooks a silly boy for talking such crap.

Cotto would destroy him easily, no were near that level, a total joke to even think he could touch Cotto. Christ next you will be telling me he can beat Pacman:lol:

Promising prospect indulges in a bit of far-fetched self promotion. Don't see the harm of it myself.

Maybe, but if it was Khan talking uttershite at that stage in his career we would rip him a new one. Brook is talented but totally untested at that level, even euro level ffsake

I agree, but Khan gets a disproportionate amount of criticism. Hopefully by the end of next year Brook will be challenging for European honours, and we'll have a better understanding of his true capabilities.

Good prospect but has shown nothing to even suggest he'll get near that level yet. Its far tougher to look as good as he has when theres a good opponent opposite you.

So far so good but time will tell

ps, I dont think Jennings will be an easy night for him even though Michael is getting on a bit, a points loss for Brook would be no upset.

When/If Brook gets to world level, which I believe could be in 3-4 years time, Cotto will be long gone anyway IMO.
