No doubt, too strong, too much power, too many angles.

I'd use logic to explain how both Klitschko's have a very good chance at beating Ali, but what's the point? I could explain how Wladimir has superb boxing ability, movement, power, and that Ali's rope-a-dope would get him in serious trouble, but why do that?

I could even mention that Vitali has a granite chin and Ali wasn't a very heavy puncher. That Vitali has never been outpointed or out landed (even against Lennox) and has one of the best punches taken/recieved ratios OF ALL TIME, but again...why bother?

If ESB has taught me one thing, it's that Ali doesn't lose hypothetical fights. After all, he was "the greatest", surely this is a joke thread?

Ali KO's both of them on the same night in a total of 5 rounds, 6 max.

I could also explain how Vitali quit and struggled to land punches on Byrd, i could also explain how he almost lost his vision against the only great fighter he faced..
I could also try to explain that both Klitschko's best wins comes against overweight fighters, i could also explain that Wlad has never fought anyone with the speed, workrate and skill of Ali.. But why bother?
The klitlickers will just come with the usual: Ali weighed 215 lbs, Wlad weighs 240 lbs.. Ali's opponents weighed 210 lbs, Wlad's weighs 235 lbs.. Therefor Wladimir is better by defualt, because of the weight..

So you agree that Ali beats Vitali via torn rotator cuff, possibly on cuts.

And he TKO's Wlad in 1?

By the way is this your 6th or 7th account?

No they would not, skillset & ability is more important than size, especially when you are 6`3, 215 lbs & are extremely strong in the clinch... the Klitschko`s size would only work for them if they were able to manhandle Ali & that would not happen.

Ali outboxes both, lets keep it real people.

Thats a nice little story but here`s the thing....

    1. In fantasy fights, the usual practice is to use the best versions so the rope-a-dope is a non factor, the Klits would be facing constant movement, not a stationary target.

    2. Vitali`s chin doesn`t stop him from dropping rounds en route to being outboxed, it only stops the KO, Ali is a points fighter that will take the KO only if its on offer, he never goes all out for no reason.

    3. Wlad`s boxing ability works well for him vs guys that don`t have his level of boxing ability, Muhammad Ali is a superior boxer to Wlad, Wlad is not outboxing Muhammad Ali for a full 12 rounds.

By the way, some of us don`t just pick a fighter for the sake of it or because they are legends, some of us have actually seen these guys fight & actually believe the retired fighter can beat todays super breed & much advanced fighter.

    :good

I don't doubt your faith. I just doubt that you have a chance of seeing both sides of the coin; it's not your fault though. It's not that you don't see the other side of the coin, it's that you don't know it exists. Because of this you can only logically conclude that you cannot be wrong.

    Again it's not your fault.

You think Ali would easily beat the Klitschko's, nothing can change your mind.

I think both Klitschko's and even Lewis would beat Ali 9/10 times.

We will never see eye to eye.

I don't think so. Ali had that long ass reach to make up for the height difference and I think the K brothers would be way to slow for him in his prime.

This must be the first Ali vs Klitschkos thread

  15. Wow, i thought I accidentally joined the classic forum. All this overrating old fighters and massively underrating current ones had me confused for a second.
