Did you just say Audley Harrison? :rofl Haye could do all that and still not be rated alongside the Klitschkos. :deal Wladimir has held his multiple titles longer & he already KO'd Chagaev. Adamek is fun and all but Wlad would KO him fairly easily. Sounds to me like you're trying to justify Haye not fighting one of the Klitschkos after he talked all that **** about them.
Well Wlad is rated #1, Vitali #2 and Haye a distant #3. So to move up in the rankings he'd have to fight & beat a Klitschko to advance further. He could move up with sheer number of defenses against lower level competition, but that would be time consuming and would appear to be a duck of both brothers.
Don't worry, I'm not a Haye defender. I just want to point out that article quotes an un-named source. Which is as useful as tits on a bull. I'm not saying it's untrue, I'm just saying the 50/50 doubters still have every right to doubt, based on that article by 'Scoop Malinowski'.
He is just a contender and not a champ. The paper belt he has is because Chagaev gave up the WBA after he beat Valuev to fight Wladimir. Even if he were to beat Chagaev, Harrison, and Adamek...and that is a huge IF by the way...he is still not a champ and still not the equal of either Klitschko brother. The Klitschkos have been dominating the division for getting close to ten years! Haye did not even dominate the crusierweight division for ten minutes and most of his victories at heavyweight have been against Klitschko left overs.
I don't see why the klitschko's would view Haye as another champ? Wlad beat Chagaev who was the WBA champ at the time. The WBA stripped Chagaev of the title after he lost and Haye won a vacant belt, but for all intents and puposes, Wlad is the WBA, IBF, and WBO champ. Vitaly the WBC champ. Haye is a contender, not a real titleholder.
Haye isn't a champ, he's a challenger. And when you immediately move to a new division and corner the champ on an escalator and accuse him of ducking you. Then you've put yourself in a very precarious situation. Especially when you're given your shot and back out 3 weeks prior w/ a BS unsubstanciated injury. So, who's arrogant again?
He is a challenger. Wlad is the Ring champ who has two world titles and eight defenses. Haye as one. Are you really that obtuse or biased to look at each side and say that Haye should receive an equal share. And from everything that anyone has heard, that was exactly what he was offered by Wlad and he walked away. So, once again, Haye got something that he didn't earn and walked away.
