That fight isn't happening for now anyway, despite K2 calling for it.

I wrote that over a year ago, my opinion has changed somewhat since then, GGG hasnt been ducked by everyone for no reason and he already defeated Geale in the amateurs, GGG has improved out of sight and has power that would concern any boxer. Sturm and Felix did not.

Ippy your a good man and i respect your opinion.

Lewis was indeed an exceptional amateur, but in 1984 he was still a gangly kid with huge potential. Being 18yrs old, are you telling me that he was giving Mike fits at the same age................. mind you Mike won the HW title aged 19yrs.

You really didn't address the question about Spike Cheney apart from saying he was a highly decorated amateur..... was this before or after the silver medal :think

The only fighters who have ducked Golovkin are Sturm, N'Jikam, and your butt boy Mundine. Why the **** would Martinez or Chavez even bother to fight him when he has nothing to offer them in terms of money, reward and his ranking before the Proska fight was nothing to harp on about. Geale unified those titles less than a month ago and you accuse him of ducking Golovkin yet I don't see you jumping on Mundines back for ducking him and Trout, yet you claim to be a Geale fan and that you dislike Mundine. You truly are full of **** Ty. In what way has Golovkin improved out of sight, cause he still gets tagged a **** load, has a poor work rate compared to the likes of Geale and Martinez and when challenged by someone who sets the pace of the fight he struggles (see his fight against the out of prime Ouma who gave him problems till he was caught). I don't doubt he has a lot of power but to make the call that he is the most dangerous middleweight based him knocking out a bunch bums who couldn't even keep their hands up (my 89 yo grandmother could've tagged Proska) and his amateur career is absolutely absurd and shows you're clutching at straws due to your obvious dislike for Geale.

Cmon guys let's stay on thread...this matchup with ggg and geale is exciting...
If geale gets this fight it will be granges time to shine and position geale as a
Legit contender for the next 3 years for any title win loose or draw...

That he may be but he did beat Geale, so what is wrong in taking a high money revenge fight that is a relative soft touch compared to his previous fight against Sturm?

After that he can move on to fighting the likes of GGG, Pirog, etc.
