GGG vs Lemmy might not happen. But it won't be due to IBF:

According to Allboxing.ru source, K2 have gotten in contact with IBF, and the organization spokesperson confirmed that there is NO ISSUE WHATSOEVER in organizing a unification bout between the WBA and IBF champions.

The offer is still on the table, according to Genady's promoter. They sent a letter to Goldenboy: the best must fight the best! :happy

Good move by K2. De La Hoya always preaching best must face best hope he honors his word. IBF doesn't even have a mando set. Make the unification.

Looks like K2 wouldn't mind throwing the WBC mando status to get the IBF belt. They'll have to wait for it anyways.

GGG is a step too far, but why can't Lemieux fight Lee?

Personally I rather like the idea of David smashing guys to bits for another year or two to get ready for GGG. He's not ready yet, let it build it could in another year be a semi mega fight.

Didn't Oscar De La Hoya say yesterday, "Boxing is all about the best fighting the best." ????

    Sigh

GGG is THAT scary, he makes Delahoya go back on his word.

I am surprised the usual trollop of village idiots didn't show up to try to somehow make this look like its Genady's fault.

Let's build Lemieux's confidence while being a title holder, and craft some of his skills.

Then he could left hook GGG to oblivion.
