I thought Showtime looked serious when they tried to make Jermain Taylor their main draw. That was a poor choice. If they are serious in wanting to get part of the fight box office game, they should hop on Wlad.

 

Yes, they should. They should try to get Wlad/Pov and Vitali/Valuev on the same PPV card with two good under card fights.

HBO put way too much faith on Chris Arreola being able to beat Vitali. They were begging for this to happen he got wrecked and now has lost twice. They also tried to get behind Peter and he ended up a bust also.

HBO has pretty much stated the only big Heavyweight fight they are interested in is Haye vs a Klitschko brother. They might screw the pooch here and end up out of the Heavyweight business altogether.

Showtime would be smart to showcase the remaining fights the Klitschko's have. :deal

 

I havent heard anything official yet. Just heard the valuev fight is looking good but still talking

 

HBO always seem to try and develop name fighters instead of picking good fights.the fact quality fights like adamek/uss or wlad/chambers don't get on tv but arreola/minto and angulo/yorgey do is a joke

 

Well, their track record has been pretty bad but I think they are hoping name recognition sells fights so they don't have to do much else.

 

its lazy like some promoters that think just getting their fighter on tv is their job(gary shaw) in fairness to bob he made sure kelly had a loyal fan base
