K9 " I don't want Lara"

These guys cannot fight forever, so yeah they want to make as much money as they can NOW. I like Lara and I think most on these boards do . . . but we are the few hardcore fans who know who he is. Personally, i would love to see the two guys go at it and make huge money but that is not the way things go. This how these guys make a living and no one should really fault them for it! I would love for Lara to get another big break ( his first one was Pwill) but since he is not a huge name he will have to be patient.

 

In the 60s and 70s thos guys had to fight 8-10 times a year to make a living. 80s and 90s was a transformational period where the industry was slowly evolving to PPV system. the best fought the best because that was where the money was. Today it more the promotional company building the name of a fighter to get the big fights.

 

oh well he only has a few more fights left so i dont blame him

 

K9 has been asking for a big fight for a while now and its fallen on deaf ears

Lara to ESB is a big deal but its not the level of money or high profile K9 wants

Lara is good but look who he is calling out, draws and big ones

remember he called out Oscar, kinda wish Oscar took that one it would have been a chance to try and go out a winner and with dignity and a title

Lara vs K9 would be good, i think K9 could really push him like Molina did

Bundrage is smarter than people give him credit for. If he fights Lara, he'll recieve a mediocre payday, lose his title, and become irrelevant. Atleast with Kirkland he'll get a bit more money.

 

Because he knows he's gonna get his ass handed to him. Better think of every excuse in the book.

 

What does beating Lara do for K9? Absolutley nothing. The guy is calling out Martinez. Is Lara better than Mariltinez? No he is not. Lara brings nothing to the table at this time. Many of his fights are boring, he has no fan base, no titles, and no significant wins. Let's see if Lara can beat Vanes.
