Maybe Kabayel got offered a shot at Dubois?

Bakole vs Zhang is a phenomenal fight so I'm not mad at it.

Apparently he's got the Dubois fight.

    Dubois v Kabayel
    Zhang v Bakole

    Parker v Wardley?

About time if Kabayels fighting for title.

Kabayel has won all the big regional belts except the Commonwealth which he can't win because hes from Germany. He might be the most qualified first time challenger HW has seen since Liston.

How many contenders fighting for their first world title have this many accolades? Its more an indictment on Fury, AJ and Usyks handling of the division.

What accolades? The European belt? A Continental Americas belt?

European, European Union, NABF, NABO, Intercontinental. 9-0 in 12 rounders.

He may be the most accomplished first-time title challenger since Dillian Whyte, and Whyte beat better guys. But hardly since Sonny Liston.

Agit Kabayel is the most accomplished first-time heavyweight title challenger over the last 62 years? NO. No. No. No.

Bakole v Zhang isn't a bad alternative. Quite a few 'high risk, low reward' fights for the big guns, which can only be a good thing. It's just up to the promoters to sort it out

Whyte had already lost to Joshua.

    It was Anthony Joshua.

Kabayel was a "friendly ref" away from being blown out in two rounds against Agron Smakici last year.

Who the hell was Smakici? He isn't Anthony Joshua, that's for damn sure.

I've enjoyed Agit's brief run as of late. But he isn't the most accomplished first time title challenger in 62 years. Not at all.

If he fights Dubois, I imagine Dubois will finish the job.

To be fair, Dubois nearly got knocked out by Lerena, a former cruiser. Both guys have weaknesses and both guys are on a good run as of late.

I favor Dubois 60/40, but I can see Kabayel beating Dubois with his pressure and body shots.
