It's safe to say this fight will mostly be spent on the inside, who wins? Is Bowe just on a different level?
I think Kabayel is too open for the uppercut. I would like to see Kabayel go up against more fighters with big uppercuts before i pick him over Bowe. Kabayel could win if he fought off his backfoot but i suspect Bowe is strong enough to draw Kabayel into an infight. Bowe is the best infighter among big men and he had a strong uppercut. I suspect Kabayel will be floored by a Bowe uppercut and end up losing a decision. Kabayel is a much more likeable guy than Bowe so i would cheer for Kabayel but i suspect Bowe is too good. That being said, Kabayel still likely hasn't peaked yet. So who knows how good he will become.
Kabayel needs to box and occasionally fight to get Bowe’s respect, but he shouldn’t fight how he fought against Zhang, but also not how he fought against Chisora. He should fight how he fought against Makhmudov, but I wouldn’t favour him. I do believe he’d give Bowe some issue with his counterpunching and boxing ability, but not sure if he can put that dent in Bowe, and Kabayel can be tagged with that uppercut. I wouldn’t rule Kabayel out, but I wouldn’t favour him at this point in time, although we may have already seen the best of Kabayel believe it or not.
