he hasnt even won and they are already saying that kahn will fight morles in his 1st defence and saying they want hatton but Kotelnik isnt a nobody he is a world champion and has been in with the best and has only lost twice and has never been stopped unlike khan but khans and his team are acting like Kotelnik is nothing
this is why people rag on khan. i think he's a nice enough guy but ****: he does NOTHING to earn this title shot, nothing to earn the money he gets, nothing to earn the rankings he gets. i thought prescott taught him a little humility and he would mature as a fighter and be better for it but no, one tainted win over an overweight, over the hill barrera and he's back to being a cocky ****. if he ain't cocky, he needs to tell the people around him to shut the **** up and let his fists do the talking. how the **** he thinks he's "back on top" (when he never was to begin with) after a referee assisted win over barrera is beyond me. He needs to prove himself, end of story. NOTE: i think he would've destroyed barrera no matter what. The issue is that the ref, the promoters and everybody else in that stadium helped him to do it.
Khan and his team should stay calm and not count the chickens or American bucks before they are hatched or earned! Kotelnik for sure is not the underdog of this upcomming fight.I very much hope that they wont rob him of a well deserved victory on British soil as they did before in the UK(against Mbye and Witter). Khan is fighting in his backyard which may give him a cutting edge. Nevertheless,I put my money on Kotelnik by close point decision.................or Khan by robbery a la Sturm vs Gevor.:bart
I would love to see the overhyped Brit getting flattened. Nevertheless, though Kotelnik is really a good boxer, i think he´s almost made for Khan, he has that typical Eastern European style. Khan is fast and you have to surprise him to get him out of his game. I doubt that Kotelnik is able to do something unexpected.
