Hes a solid puncher. Nothing extraordinary, but hes no Mallignaggi either.

I certainly don't think Khan is no one to take liberties with,he's certainly no powder puff puncher. His speed of punch makes him dangerous and remember he almost had maidana out of there in the 1st round with a viscious body punch.
I really don't understand the hate by some of the childish cretins for Khan
on here. Sure his chin isn't the best but can he help that? He doesn't lack heart and he's prepared to go In there against anyone his fights are always exciting.

If Malignaggi is a 1 and Maidana is a 10, Khan rates about 6 on the power scale. A lot is made of the liver shot that put Maidana down, but he wouldn't have got up if it was someone like Hatton that had landed it.

Based on this thread, now I think Khan's power is UNDER-rated.

Paulie has an iron jaw, no shame in not stopping Maidana, and Kotelnik doesn't ever get hurt.

He put the hurt on all of them though and he overwhelmed and bruised up Zab to the point of him basically taking a knee in that weird ending.

Peterson described his power as shot-gun power. What he means by that, I don't know. Anyway, as Nonito above has just reminded us, you don't go stopping a solid-chinned person like Malignaggi if you didn't at least have respectable power.

I would say that he punches at a Powder Puff level.

Any **** to make Khan look bad, like he is not the most hated fighter on ESB already.

The more I read material on this forum makes me want to root for him. I never gave a F about Khan before, but thinking about converting to a full out Khantard. :think

His power is good. But he is a lazy fighter who has no discipline. He did not want to work to land his punches, he wanted to be sloppy and land and maybe get countered, which he did. He had the potential to be a very very good fighter, but I don't think he has the mindset of a good or HOF fighter.
