Who has Devon lost to? What kind of fighters are they? Alexander lost close boxing decisions (in my eyes) to Matthysse & Kotelnik... The next two better 'boxer' boxers who he officially lost to were Bradley and Porter... Khan would beat him.. Right hand & jab beats Alexander's all night - Khan seems to do well against southpaws also. Reason why Thurman Vs Alexander interests me...see how good a boxer Thurman is...Alexander excels against anyone who isn't a sharp solid boxer & his iron chin offsets their power alot of the time.
Khan has a very good chance to beat Alexander in my opinion he should take this fight if he wants to fight Floyd next May. On the other hand I think that Porter is all wrong for Khan, Porter is a lot more explosive and is not as technical as Alexander, I would favor Porter.
I think it would be a great fight. Alexander has proven to be a very durable fighter and Khan has the supposed weak chin. But ever since Khan has moved up to 147, he appears much bigger and stronger in comparison to Alexander. Alexander though held up pretty well tonight against a very strong opponent.
If Khan grabs and holds the entire match like he did against Callazo than he should be fine. His quick potshots followed by a hold should see him through the bout with a victory.
