Exactly it would be a good test for Khan. But remember I've heard on good authority it will be Dave Stewart next.;)

I know that Joe,but I look at Khan and see that the potential is there for him to progress and dominate a division...I look at Rees and see someone fighting at his very limit or probably fighting above his station, and although he's been a World Champion...For me he was a poor one....Khan is a lad who has a lot to work on but even then he's got more than enough for Gavin

Khan - David Diaz has old skool written all over it..... So no chance of that happening whatsoever... Not FW's style.

Rees-Khan would be good if Gavin had some sort of track record of his own - however the only thing he's got near championship class is a pts win over some paper champion and the loss to Kotelnik where he was outclassed. Gavin is a good fighter though but he's no where near big enough to handle khan and his approch means he'll be less compaetitve then Gomez IMO. He can hit a little though.

Dave Stewart is a great matchup for Khan.
Closest thing in world boxing to Pacquaio IMO

And it is generally thought that Mbaye had a truly terrible off-night against Rees, whereas Kotelnik (no great shakes - just a good stand-up boxer IMO) beat the living **** out of the Welshman, despite Woodall's "tinted spectacles scorecard".

Khan will blow him out in 5 or 6.

Rees is not a big puncher, pretty easy to hit and is basically made for Amir Khan. As we all know Warren is not stupid and if this comes off it's because Frank knows it's another win in the bag and against a former world champion which will only do good for Khan's profile.

Last time I saw Rees was in Vegas, I chatted to him and his beer gut was all there in fine form I really hope he looks in better shape if this happens. (not that it will make much difference).

i agree its funny how khotelnik man handeled rees over 12 brutal rounds and a bigger puncher in mbaye just stood there all night and allowed rees to outwork him, but i'll give rees credit he did have his moments against andreas

TBH after last night i dont think they'll be anything left of poor david (not that he was any good in the 1st place), khan has a good chance of blowing him out really early, the punishment manny dished out to diaz was career shattering
